Katwijk Museum receives special gift

The Katwijk Museum has received an addition to its collection: a framed photograph by Jimmy Nelson from his latest book Between the Sea and the Sky. The publication is a tribute to Dutch traditional dress, including the rich heritage of Katwijk.

The photograph was gifted by Jimmy Nelson Foundation as a gesture of appreciation for the museum’s contribution to the book. The Katwijk Museum expressed its gratitude, describing the work as a valuable addition to the collection and confirming it will be given a special place within the museum.

We are pleased that this collaboration has resulted not only in the book itself, but also in a lasting presence of Between the Sea and the Sky within the Katwijk Museum.
