The Jimmy Nelson Foundation is creating teams and projects that will be documenting and researching the world’s last indigenous cultures from your and their own personal perspective. For this, we are looking for young (in spirit), curious, creative, talented individuals from around the world.

These teams will master the art of film, photography and storytelling and share the story of the community with the world. Next to documenting you will be doing research on how and where we can support the community. Your research will help us to set up reciprocity projects!

Each project takes around one to two weeks. The locations are remote and will range from Africa to Asia, to Europe, to America and the Pacific. Since the projects are demanding, as we have high expectations of you, we advise you to carefully read through the requirements before applying.

The journey of ‘Circle of Cultural Connection’ is a collection of projects, which consist of cultural festivals and celebrations. Our mission is to record the pride that lies beneath these diverse peoples which will bring us back together and form a basis of mutual respect, and understanding for all humanity. To create a culturally connected world for all generations to come.

A note to us, feel free to tell us details such as: Do you have any health problems we should know about? Is there a festival the Foundation should look in to?

*Please note that all applicants after applying will be added to an online competition-based database, from which the most suitable applicants will be selected for the projects. You will receive a conformation email with a link for the participation form. Please check your email or junk mail.  FAQ and Expectations
